I like Lou's version better. I saw him playing with Folk Implosion once, and after his set he sat at a little table and sold shirts. I went and got a shirt, and tried to get him to call my drunken friend a motherfucker. As Mike was lying on his back, Lou looked at him and said, "I can't call him a motherfucker, he bought a shirt too." I was also drunk and did not think that, had I purchased another shirt, it would have tipped the cursing balance in my favor. So Mike escaped my first attempt to get hiim cursed at by a musician.
