Miers

Seems like Bush's Crazy Base doesn't like his choice for the Supreme Court, even after she basically yelled that she'd vote to overturn Roe v. Wade. Pretty weird...I actually agree with the kooks.

Miers has made claims of constitutional knowledge that experienced analysts say are basically made-up crap. Her only redeeming feature seems to be unbending loyalty to W, which is a little gross.

So she doesn't know a damn thing about constitutional law, she spent thirty years defending corporations, and the rest of it holding onto W's belt loop. What is it we're supposed to like about this woman? Sounds exactly like every other nominee.

And what's up with Bush getting all these critical nominations? Two Supremes, and the Fed. He's basically got one criteria, it seems...loyalty. If they're loyal to him, they get all sorts of protection. It's like the Mafia. Cosa Busha.

Ah well. I think we're fucked anyways. Might as well see how it plays out.
