HPV vaccine

They've found an effective cervical cancer vaccine.
The religious right is saying "It'll make girls into sluts if they're not afraid of catching an STD!". Of course, I'd rather have a non-infected, cancer-free slut than a prematurely dead woman, virtue intact. Additionally, they don't mention that they themselves are full of every kind of shit imaginable.
This is a great, great thing. Half a million new cases of HPV related cancer every year, especially in the third world, could be prevented.
